Description
The BAILEY High Efficiency (HE) Inset Gas Fire with Logs for installation into a traditional fireplace surround. This is a room sealed, glass fronted gas fire which will replace any existing inset gas fire installed in the UK. The fire was designed to give the appearance of a stove but with the benefit of using gas.
The glass fronted gas fire is tested to the latest UKCA & UKNI standard and has a class 1 efficiency rating and a 2.5Kw gas burner. This means that most of the heat generated is returned to the room and by using a Bailey HE inset fire you will save you around 70% in running costs when it is used to replace an old open flamed gas fire with pebbles or coals, with more heat.
With a CVO HE inset gas fire you can enjoy more heat into the room and reduce your fuel bills at the same time. Running costs on this fire are only 12p/hour. As this is a modern, glass fronted, high efficiency design do not be put off by the “low” heat output, most old style inset gas fires waste 75% of the heat paid for up the chimney meaning an old 5Kw gas fire will give you only 1Kw in the room. Hence why people complain of no heat and drafts. With a modern HE inset gas fire like the Bailey you will get 1.9Kw in the room for 50% of the cost of the old fire. This fire is a room sealed appliance and no additional room ventilation or air vent is required. The fire features a modern gas burner with logs giving the appearance of a wood burning stove, without all the mess. The BAILEY is sold online as a burner only or with a choice of surrounds.
Adaptable: The Bailey inset gas fire will fit into any existing inset fire opening ( “maximum” size of (w) 435mm x (h) 570mm and “minimum” depth of only 126mm). Suitable for all chimney types. Great little fire. Bought online. Glass fronted, used to replace an old open flame inset. This gives out loads of heat but does not use much gas so everything you need – more heat for less cost. Clean burning. Even looks like a stove without all the mess.
