This 600 mm wide (23.6inch) Bio Ethanol Fire Ribbon Burner uses clean burning liquid bio ethanol fireplace fuel to provide 4kW of heat. The tray is supplied with a safety tray and is manufactured from high quality brushed stainless steel. This modern bio-fuel ribbon fire burner includes special matting to improve the flame quality and extend the burn time. The burner has been designed with a large glamorous flame and with a tray capacity of 2 litres. The burner will burn for up to approximately 3 hours burn time. The burn time can be extended by partially closing the lid to reduce the flame, saving fuel and reducing the heat output. This burner tray is available with a wide range of standard single and double sided enclosures. Overall tray size = 600mm W x 193mm D x 50mm H.

The standard single sided or double sided enclosure has an opening size of 800mm wide x 400mm high x 260mm deep. Enclosures are available in brushed, polished or black steel. The enclosure has the safety tray built in. A full technical drawing and guidance on designing the fireplace, installing and using the unit is available by calling 01325-301020. Bespoke and see through versions are available upon request.The tray is suitable for use in custom designed fireplaces or can be purchased with our standard enclosure. The enclosure is available in either a single sided or double sided style (creating a see through fireplace). Bespoke enclosures are available upon request. During installation the safety tray must used an this must be recessed into base. As this is a bio ethanol fireplace the fuel quality, ambient conditions and enclosure design can all affect the performance of the burner hence the heat outputs and running times quoted on this web site are approximate values only.When using this burner tray in a custom design fireplace the fireplace must be made of non-combustible materials with clearances to combustible materials. Consult the installation booklet supplied with the tray and building regulations. No building work should be started until the tray is on site and the installation instructions have been received and consulted. Once an order is placed a copy of the install booklet can be emailed in advance if required. The burner is supplied with assembly and safety instructions. FIREPLACE DESIGN : The ribbon burner was design to be used in a fireplace enclosure – it is shown below in our standard black steel enclosure. Use of the tray in any other type of enclosure design may affect the performance of the burner. We accept no responsibility for the safety and performance of the ribbon tray when it is not used in our standard enclosure. The burn time and heat output can vary depending on the design of the enclosure and the quality of the fuel that is being used. The running times we have recorded are taken from testing the tray within our standard enclosure, using our own fuel brand in a fireplace test room.

As this is a bio ethanol fireplace it cannot be expected to perform like a gas fire. Once the fire is lit the flame will take around 15 minutes to reach optimum visual performance. During the start up period the flame will be blue and gradually change to yellow. Once the fuel starts to run out the flame quality will deteriorate and become unsteady and patchy, this is normal. It should be considered there is a 15 min start up period, then an optimum period of flame performance, then a 15-30 minute period where the flame is dying out.
