Our inset gas fires are a direct replacement for any existing inset gas fire installation or they can be supplied as a complete package with surround and hearth for a new installation. These fires are tested to BS7977:2013, the latest Standard for safety and efficiency. The fires can be used in any existing chimney – Class1, Class2 or Pre-Cast or can be installed using a flue box and flue liner and a false chimney breast in a new build property. By replacing an old inset fire with a CVO high efficiency inset gas fire you could benefit from up to 60% more heat in the room for 50% of the cost.
Tested to BS7977:2013 Standard : Class 1 Energy Efficiency Rating
EFFICIENCY RATINGS: When comparing appliances tested to the old 2001 standard you should consider that these older fires can have actual efficiency ratings up to 25% less than the quoted figures when compared to a new fire tested to BS7977:2013. For instance, an old 2001 inset gas fire quoting 85% efficiency will probably be only 63% when tested to the new 2013 standard.

The BAILEY Inset Gas Fire has been designed as a modern replacement for any existing inset gas fire currently installed in the UK. The inset gas fire is available to buy alone or you can buy a complete traditional fireplace package with surround, hearth, backing plate and inset gas fire. This modern inset gas fire has a class 1 efficiency rating of 72% and has been designed for installation into new build properties to meet stricter building regulations and also as a replacement for any existing open flame inset gas fire where improved energy efficiency is required.

The BAILEY includes a special CVO gas burner design which creates a stunning flame quality. The burner has realistic fireplace logs and has a stunning visual quality. Providing the look of a real log fire with the benefit of high efficiency and the low running costs of using gas.
The fire will fit into an opening with a “maximum” size of (w) 435mm x (h) 570mm and “minimum” depth of only 126mm.
Hole in the Wall Inset Gas Fire
There is also a special “Hole in the Wall” version of our inset gas fires available. The BAILEY (Logs) can be upgraded to a contemporary version which can be mounted on the wall without a surround and hearth.
See image right – this is the BAILEY with a brushed stainless trim. The Hole in the Wall trim is available in either Black or Brushed Stainless Steel. To do this the fire needs to be upgraded with a new trim that covers the complete workings of the fire. The HIW trim is available as an upgrade at the time of ordering. Please ensure you tell the sales staff when calling that you are installing the fire as wall mounted (see image) rather than as a traditional version using a surround/hearth. To install the fire in this way the fire chamber needs to be moved from the floor up the wall to a suitable height. The chamber must be sealed using a suitable flue box or a non-combustible material. The flue must be joined to the top of the fire chamber.

FR920 : High Efficiency Frameless Gas Fire with Logs
[BS7977 & EN613].
FR920HE: 920mm wide, trimless gas fire tested to the latest UKCA safety standard. This modern gas fire is operated by a thermostatic remote control which will monitor the room temperature and adjust the flame automatically to a desired heat level. This saves energy. The FR920HE glass fronted, high efficiency, gas fire on full will provide 4.8kW of heat into the room.

BLADE : Gas Fire with Glass Front. This new wall mounted contemporary fireplace has been created with energy saving and style in mind. This is a modern and highly heat efficient fireplace.
